What is the course about?

This is the perfect short course for those who would like to gain a real insight into the diverse range of plants suitable for propagation in Spring. You will learn about the Spring propagation techniques used by horticulturalists. Find out about the factors involved when selecting propagation material from plants. Have a go at the propagation techniques, if you would like to and gain the confidence to propagate plants in the Spring to increase your plant stock for your own garden.

What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?

All abilities are welcome. No formal qualifications are needed, just an enthusiasm for the subject. The course is mainly studio based. There may be some practical tutor demonstrations along with opportunities for you to have a go at some of the practical activities, only if you choose to.

What do I need to bring with me?

A pencil and a sketchbook or notebook.
Gardening gloves, sturdy boots and weather appropriate clothing.
