It includes the value of play, roles and responsibilities of carers and volunteers, and the importance of developing links in the local community. It covers working with children up to the age of 5 years. Students will practise their piping skills using both buttercream and royal icing on this 3 week course. We will practice with different nozzles onto a practise board before piping onto a cake/dummy. The buttercream piping will be onto cupcakes – all with a festive theme!FIND OUT MORE
The course covers the following practical units. Manicure, pedicure, facial skincare, eye treatments, waxing and make-up. There are also supporting theory units of health and safety, working in the beauty industry, reception and anatomy and physiology. This course is professional standard level 2 qualification enabling students to go into the beauty industry after obtaining the qualification.
