What is the course about?
This is the perfect short course for those who would like to gain a real insight into the fundamental Garden Design principles. You will have the opportunity to apply these principles in order to consider improvements within your own or perhaps a friend’s garden. Spend time exploring exciting design ideas for your garden, so that you can really make the most of and enjoy your garden this Summer.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
All abilities are welcome. No formal qualifications are needed, just an enthusiasm for the subject. The course is studio based.
What do I need to bring with me?
A sketchbook or sheets of A3 paper.
A pencil and a pen.
Images of gardens that inspire you.

What can I do next?
If you would like to learn how to visualise your garden design ideas and put them into practice, look out for more Gardening courses coming soon. You may like to create your own unique Art and Craft designs to embellish your Garden. You could join our Mosaics courses where you will be able to create beautiful focal points to enhance your garden. You could enrol onto our new Weaving courses where you will learn ancient weaving skills. Additionally, you may like to enrol onto the wide range of Botanical Art, Craft and Design courses, where you will have the opportunity to develop many new creative skills inspired by flower and plant forms.
