These terms apply to all website enrolments for learning with Aspire Sussex. You (the student) must ensure that you are aware of our terms and conditions before proceeding with your enrolment. Once enrolled, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.
Aspire Sussex concessions are applicable to tuition fees only, unless otherwise stated. Not all courses are eligible for concessions. If a course is eligible, you will see this in a drop down box when you reach the ‘Shopping Basket’ stage of the enrolment process.
Aspire Sussex is only able to offer a student one concession per enrolment. This is the same policy when enrolling online, in our centres or via the telephone.
2. Evidence of Concession Eligibility
If you have applied a concession to your enrolment, you will need to provide documentary evidence of your entitlement to this fee reduction. You must send a copy of this evidence via email to email@example.com or post a photocopy to Aspire Sussex Ltd, Westloats Lane, Bognor Regis, PO21 5LH within 10 working days of your enrolment.
Failure to comply with this will result in you being withdrawn from your course.
3. After enrolling and paying the deposit
If you have enrolled via the website, you will be sent email confirmation which includes your receipt, along with a link to the relevant course information sheet and Welcome Handbook for students. If you have enrolled in person at one of our centres, or on the telephone, you will be posted a hard copy of your receipt and copies of the relevant course information sheet and Welcome Handback for students.

4. Consumer Contracts Regulation
Students have the right to cancel their enrolment within fourteen working days of receiving confirmation, in which case a full refund will be made. If the course starts within that fourteen-day period, the right to cancel applies up to the day the course starts. Refunds can also be issued outside the fourteen day period if a written request is received more than four weeks before the start of the course. An administrative charge of £12 will be deducted from the refund. After that time, only requests for refunds as a result of your ill health will be considered. This must be supported by a certificate from your doctor and an administrative charge of £12 will be deducted from the refund.
These refunds will be calculated from the date your request is received by the Finance Team.

5. Enrolment Requirements
Some of our courses require our students to satisfy certain criteria before they enrol. You should ensure that you read all the information on the website about your specific course before enrolling. By enrolling via the Aspire Sussex website, you are confirming you have read these details and meet any enrolment requirements specified on the course outline. For courses requiring a pre-enrolment interview, you will be unable to enrol via the website. Please contact 0345 6 01 01 61 to arrange an interview.
6. Course Fees
Current prices are published in our brochures and on the website. These prices are subject to change. The total price quoted is the amount payable in order to secure a course place. The total price includes tuition costs and examination fees, where applicable. Some courses may include a supplement for additional materials associated with that specific course and where a supplement is listed there are no concessions on the figures stated.
7. Acceptable Behaviour
At Aspire Sussex, we are committed to putting customers at the heart of our service. However, there are occasions when customers can act in a way a staff member might consider unacceptable. Aspire Sussex expects its staff and other students to be treated in a respectful manner and, whilst it is understood that people sometimes get frustrated, we will not tolerate behaviour which is deemed unacceptable, threatening, abusive or unreasonably persistent.
Aspire Sussex reserve the right to refuse an enrolment.
8. Course changes and cancellations
Although courses usually run as advertised, we reserve the right to alter or change courses as necessary. If occasional sessions have to be postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, alternative dates will be arranged and no refunds will be granted. We also do not grant refunds on the grounds of a change of tutor or venue. If it becomes necessary to close or cancel your course, your fees will be refunded.
9. Venue closures
Although we make every effort to ensure that our venues remain open, in the case of severe weather conditions or other unforeseen events, venue closures are sometimes unavoidable.

10. Start date of your course

Filming or recording of classes is strictly prohibited.
11. Data Protection and how we use your personal information
All personal information (including Credit and Debit card details) entered on the Aspire Sussex website is processed through a secure server link and is encoded for Student security.
The personal information you provide is passed to the Chief Executive of Skills Funding (“the Agency”) and, when needed, the Department for Education, including the Education Funding Agency to meet legal responsibilities under the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009, and for the Agency’s Learning Record Service (LRS) to create and maintain a unique learner number (ULN). The information you provide may be shared with other partner organisations for purposes relating to education or training.
