The aim of the course is to introduce you to the basics of writing case studies and reports. This course will cover a wide range of techniques, including some English language practise and other 'tools' which students would find useful to include. You will be taught using a variety of different techniques, such as classroom discussion, worksheets, some independent research, power points and much more. You can expect to have a greater understanding of how to write case studies and reports with the techniques given to you by the tutor.
You will be asked to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) at the beginning of the course/workshop. The ILP is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you will get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILP regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
