It provides the opportunity to demonstrate performance and underpinning knowledge and can be undertaken by employed staff and volunteers. It is either a progression from the Award in Support Work in Schools or can be taken as a qualification incorporating the Award units.

You will require confirmation from a school to support you in a voluntary placement. You would be required to volunteer for a minimum of 6 hours per week.
