It’s National Careers Week!

If you are 19+ and thinking about starting a career or maybe you want to switch industries, Aspire has a wonderful selection of employability skills courses that might be perfect for you.

Computing:
If you are a little unsure about technology or just want to update your skills, we have a variety of courses that might suit you from Digital Skills and Introductory Computing to iPad & tablets and Microsoft Office. Our tutors are training in supporting you to keep up to speed with the latest software.

Flexible Distance Learning:
We have a range of Level 2 Certificates available through flexible online learning. The courses are FREE but a deposit is taken at the start and returned on successful completion of the course (within 15 weeks).

NCFE CACHE Level 1 – Preparing To Work In Schools:
This qualification prepares learners for further learning and training whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting. It covers areas such as how to support the well-being of a child or young person and their development and understanding schools and organisations.

CACHE Level 1 Award In Introduction To Early Yeats Settings:
This course provides a nationally recognised qualification that will enable you to gain a basic knowledge of childcare in early years environments. The qualification is aimed at parents and volunteers wishing to participate in the provision made by early years environments, such as pre-schools.

Nail Technology: VTCT Level 2 Certificate:
This course is suitable for those seeking a career within the nail industry, as our qualifications are based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for nail services.

Level 2 – Supporting Teaching And Learning In Schools:
This is a qualification for those who work/wish to work or volunteer in primary, secondary and special needs schools. Achieving this qualification demonstrates an individual’s ability in relation to pupil welfare, care, behaviour and learning.

This qualification is for candidates who work, or want to work as teachers/trainers in the further education and skills sector.

English And Functional Skills English:
Our range of English classes are taught in a friendly and supportive environment by tutors who are experienced in helping individuals to improve their use of spoken and written English as they learn and achieve. Learners have the ability to work towards a Functional Skills English qualification at an appropriate level. It is important that learners can commit to a high level of attendance.

We offer courses at Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2 and GCSE. Our English courses are FREE, however, an annual, non-returnable assessment fee of £15 per course per student is charged.

Maths And Functional Skills Maths:
Frightened by fractions, daunted by decimals, need a qualification for your CV or feel you can’t support your children? This course also provides an excellent foundation for students considering progressing to the GCSE. All students are required to attend regularly and take responsibility for their learning, which includes homework and revision.
