What is the course about?
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the Greek language and to develop your communication skills in basic, practical situations. The emphasis will be on speaking and listening, and you will learn key phrases and vocabulary in Greek that are essential for day-to-day survival. Topics could include: introducing yourself and other people, giving personal information, ordering food and drink, shopping and asking for/giving directions.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This course is for complete beginners who would like to take their first steps towards learning Greek and intend to use the language on holiday or for work. If you are unsure of your level, please contact us to speak to the tutor for further assistance. Diagnostic self-assessment sheets are available from the centres and on our website above.
What do I need to bring with me?
Pen and paper, as all other learning materials will be supplied.
