What is the course about?
In the instance of a Government imposed lockdown, this course will pause until it is able to begin again. No refunds will be made due to a Government imposed lockdown.
The aim of the course is to develop basic communication skills in practical situations for students who intend to use the language on holiday or for work. The emphasis will be on developing your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Topics could include: family information, describing yourself and other people, shopping, and holidays and travel.
All lessons will have learning aims which the tutor will share with you and they will track how you are progressing throughout the course and keep you informed.
The structure of the language is introduced through everyday topics and practical situations; you will also gain an insight into the culture and customs of the country.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This course is for complete beginners who would like to take their first steps in learning Greek and intend to use the language on holiday or for work.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a pen and some paper. Other learning materials will be supplied.
