What is the course about?
The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology is a substantial vocational qualification for learners seeking a career as an employed and/or self-employed nail technician. This qualification is based on the nail services National Occupational Standards (NOS) and is recognised by the UK's leading professional bodies (The British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) and the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)) as being fit for purpose for preparing learners for a career as a junior nail technician.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
Entry on to the course is following a successful skills test and interview.
What do I need to bring with me?
Pen and Paper. Lever arch folder, with dividers and plastic wallets.
Are there any additional costs?
A kit is part of the costs of the course but cotton wool tissues and other disposables will be needed for each session. It is the student’s responsibility to replenish the kit when products have run out. A college uniform is needed for this course and information on this will be given at the interview.
