What is the course about?
This is an opportunity for aspiring writers to develop techniques for unleashing their creative potential.
Whether you are interested in writing just for your own pleasure or writing a novel, there are many practical exercises which can help you find your voice and develop and hone your skills.
On top of discussions and individual and group exercises in class, you will be encouraged to write at home and to share your work with the group to gain feedback should you wish. (It’s not compulsory!)
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
There are no academic requirements. This course focuses far more on creativity than academia. (You won’t be judged or marked!) However, the course is perhaps not best suited for anyone with only a basic level of the English language.
What do I need to bring with me?
Pen and paper. At the first session your tutor will discuss with you the purchase of a suitable dictionary and textbook.
Are there any additional costs?
