What is the course about?
This short but informative course will focus on a variety of cake decorating techniques which will help the student build on their basic skill set. Students will practise the frilling technique, create contemporary scrunched folds and explore a variety of ways to create hand moulded flowers.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
Some basic cake decorating experience would be useful.
What do I need to bring with me?
1kg of white sugar paste (roll out fondant)
A large non stick rolling pin (if you have one)
A small non stick craft board ( if you have one)
Are there any additional costs?
A cake dummy and/or sponge cake to decorate. Ingredients will be provided on the first session, thereafter you will need to purchase and bring along the ingredients for the following sessions. Recipe sheets will be provided for each session.
