What is the course about?
This course is being offered as a FREE one hour session to Getting Ready for Learning Online. The session will provide you with an understanding of how to attend online courses with Aspire Sussex and to learn about how our learning platform will be used during our online courses.
The session will include support on: how to use the Microsoft Teams application and its functions; using the virtual classroom to communicate with your tutor between sessions, and understanding some of the language used when studying online.
The session will help you get started on Aspire’s learning platform, it will not provide tech support on how to get online.
*This course is FREE for those on means tested benefits and low wage learners (those who earn under £17,004 per annum). Please visit our Community Learning Courses page for more information on concessions and funding opportunities.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
This course is for complete beginners to Learning Online.
What do I need to bring with me?
You may wish to have a pen and paper to hand, to take notes throughout the session.
