What is the course about?
This engaging and interactive course is packed with activities to stimulate learning. It is designed to equip students with an introductory knowledge of food safety in a work environment and enable them to develop suitable English language and vocabulary to substantiate their learning.

- Food poisoning
- Safe handling of food
- Safe storage of food
- Personal hygiene
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
It is aimed at Entry 2 – 3 learners who intend to work in a catering, manufacturing or retail environment where food is handled, prepared or cooked.
What do I need to bring with me?
Pen and paper to make any notes. Please note that this course is due to take place online from the intended start date. For the best learning experience, please be sure to use a laptop or desktop computer with a headset and web camera. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of each session. You will receive the joining instructions 3 days before the start of the course. You will also receive a reminder on the morning of the course.
