What is the course about?
Creating accurate drawings with dramatic impact. This course will guide students through a series of drawing techniques that will enable them to develop their own abilities and personal style. Topics covered will be quality of line, measuring, shape and form, tonal value, artistic licence, expression and mark making. Tuition will include demonstrations, information sheets and slide presentations of artists work.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
You do not need any prior knowledge or experience to attend this course.
What do I need to bring with me?
For this course you will need; Soft pencils within the range of 6B to 9B. Faber Castel are good quality. Heavy cartridge paper. Soft rubber. Still life objects and photographic sources will be provided however students are welcome to bring their own.
