What is the course about?
The aim of the course is to introduce you to creative writing and to learn the basics of narrative writing. You will create stories with a particular theme and use examples from the tutor to help you write these. You can also use your own experiences eg previous stories you've read, films you may have watched, etc. This course will cover a range of techniques, including how to give a start, middle and ending to a piece of writing, how to use words and language devices to help write creatively and correctly. You will be taught using a variety of different techniques, such as classroom discussion, worksheets, some independent research, power points and much more.

This course is designed for learners of all abilities and everyone is welcome.
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need a pen and a notebook. Any other items to be discussed at first session.
