What is the course about?
The course covers the following practical units. Manicure, pedicure, facial skincare, eye treatments, waxing and make-up. There are also supporting theory units of health and safety, working in the beauty industry, reception and anatomy and physiology. This course is professional standard level 2 qualification enabling students to go into the beauty industry after obtaining the qualification.
What previous experience, knowledge or qualifications do I need for this course?
Entry on to the course is following a successful skills check and interview.
What do I need to bring with me?
2 lever arch files, 100 plastic document slips, 30 dividers, pens, paper and highlighters
Are there any additional costs?
A kit is part of the costs of the course but cotton wool, tissues and other disposables will be needed for each session. It is the student’s responsibility to replenish the kit when products have run out. A college uniform is needed for this course and information on this will be given at the interview.
