Aspire Sussex held an official opening ceremony for their new Adult Education Centre in Chichester today, on Valentine’s day. Richard Burrett, West Sussex County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, cut the ribbon to open the centre and then spoke to a room full of partner organisations including local businesses, voluntary organisations and local authorities. Richard Burrett said: “This new Adult Education Centre will increase access to a wide range of learning opportunities which will be extremely beneficial for our local community. It is really pleasing to see the scale of resources available at this new centre.”
